I Joined the Gym, What's Next?

Welcome! We are so excited to have you as a member of our family here at Every Hour Fitness. Joining a gym is a big step in your fitness journey regardless of your short and long term goals. Now you may be wondering what to do next. In this article we will guide you through some steps that will help you succeed in the gym.

The first thing that we recommend is to make an appointment with a trainer and fill out your goal assessment form with them! This form will help you realize what your goals are, how to reach those goals and also how to overcome any obstacles that might arise during your process. This is a short appointment and the benefits are extremely valuable. This is a free feature for any member at our gym.

Then, after you have set short and long terms goals with a trainer, you should start your plan of action. This will look different for everyone, depending on what your goals are. The biggest thing is to show up! Once you're here, if you're still feeling lost, please ask for help! We love to see success stories in our facility. We even have our own stories and would love to share them with you.

Now, learn your way around the gym. Test out equipment, try new workouts. Our favorite source of inspiration for great workouts is TikTok and Instagram, but you can find different exercises and learn from many fitness experts all across social media and video platforms.

If you are still unsure about what to do next, talk to a trainer to make an appointment for a free training session to see if personal training may be the path that you want to take. Hiring a trainer is helpful in many ways. Trainers have spent many years learning form and technique. Your workouts will be custom made for you weekly with the option of 2 or 3 days per week.
